Ephesians 4:3-6

It’s hard to explain
What’s on my heart
There’s so many things
That are falling apart
But I’m doing my best
To understand
So far it seems
Doesn’t make any sense
That brother against brother
Friend against friend
Tell me oh Lord
Will this ever end?

Where is the joy?
Where is the peace?
Where is that thing
We call unity?
If there is a way
Then please show us now
Cause we need you Lord
To bring us back around

We’ve got brothers
Who are dying for you
But to die to ourselves
Oh we rarely do
When we can’t agree
We pack up our bags
And there in our pride
We make our own stand
But a man on his own
Will so come undone
So Lord bring us back
And please make us one

Where is the joy?
Where is the peace?
Where is that thing
We call unity?
If there is a way
Then please show us now
Cause we need you Lord
To bring us back around

We cannot do this on our own
He’s made us
There’s one body, one faith, one Lord

So seek out the joy
And seek out the peace
With all that you’ve got
Seek unity
Cause things will get hard
And we’re seeing it now
Let’s humble ourselves
While He brings us around
