To The Churches

2 Corinthians 13:5-6
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.

This is to the churches
Gathered all around
Tell me in your meetings
Is the Holy Spirit found?
Can you feel His presence
Leading you each day?
Or are there things within our midst
That are keeping Him at bay?

Let’s be the Church
Let’s be the Bride
It’s getting dark so let us shine
The world may never ever understand
Let’s be fools for the cross for the Lamb

This is to the churches
In each and every town
Please take a moment
Step outside and look around
Can you see the beggar plea
Can you hear the sinner cry?
This is not the time for us
To plug our ears or close our eyes

This is to the churches
Here in these last days
Take the opportunity
See if you are in the faith
Cause He desires
A Church that will obey
So let us search our hearts
Lest we go astray

Don’t we know
The judgement of the Lord
Will fall upon His own house
Before it falls upon the world?
He’ll sweep out the dirt
And He’ll drive out the sin
He’ll separate the sheep from the goats
And then call His people in
